Calgary, AB (Wednesday, December 21, 2011) – Employees at STEP Energy Services Blackfalds, AB office stepped up and supported the local Feed a Family program. Through the local radio station Z99, employees pooled their donations to sponsor local families and ensure they had a memorable and happy holiday season!
As a result of the generous contributions from the employees, and a corporate matching donation, the STEP family was able to help provide food hampers for over 6 families in the central Alberta area. The volunteers at the Family Services office were amazed at the generous contribution from such a new organization.
“This initiative by our STEP of the employees not only shows their team spirit, but also their community spirit,” stated Aly Bandali, HR Director, “STEP Energy’s Vision to have employees who are engaged through building an inspired culture is clearly displayed in this charitable activity that originated from the STEP employees in our Blackfalds office.”
