STEP Completes First Multi-Stage High Rate Acid Stimulation

Calgary, AB (June 8, 2012) – STEP Energy Services successfully completed a 491m³ hydrochloric acid stimulation treatment in Carson Creek on June 6, 2012.  The treatment included 12 stages and utilized four STEP Fluid Pumping units to deliver 491m³ of acid pumping at approximately 4.00m³/min at 40 MPa through a multi-stage ball and seat stimulation system.

Throughout the job, STEP Professionals on location, and in Calgary, communicated directly with the Client to ensure an exceptional client experience was delivered from start to finish.  The entire treatment was completed without incident, injuries, spills or leaks.  STEP’s client was impressed by the performance of all STEP Professionals involved in the operation and with STEP’s industry leading fluid pumping equipment.  The job represents another successful operational milestone for STEP Energy Services!
