Calgary, AB (July 10, 2017) – On July 6, STEP co-founders Regan Davis, Steve Glanville and Bailey Epp were named as EY Entrepreneur Of The Year™ 2017 Prairie Awards program finalists in the oil and gas services category. Davis, Glanville and Epp were EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2014 Prairie Awards program finalists and emerging entrepreneur category winners.
"We are honoured to be named as finalists for a second time in our region and see this as an exceptional accomplishment,” says Glanville, chief operating officer and past EY category winner. “By clearly focusing on our growth strategy, expansion and maintaining our unique corporate culture–key performance indicators as part of the EY application–we’ve demonstrated our continued entrepreneurial spirit. Of course without the team of exceptional professionals we have at STEP, none of this would be possible.”
“EY’s Entrepreneur Of The Year program celebrates the men and women who dare to dream big and build boldly,” says Rob Jolley, region program director. “From coast to coast, our regional finalists are entrepreneurs who make the most of uncertainty, disrupt traditional business models and develop solutions to unforeseen problems. Just like this year’s EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year winner, Murad Al-Katib of AGT Food and Ingredients, they make us proud to be Canadian.”
EY Entrepreneur Of The Year is the world’s most prestigious business award for entrepreneurs. The unique award makes a difference through the way it encourages entrepreneurial activity among those with potential and recognizes the contribution of people who inspire others with their vision, leadership and achievement. As the first and only truly global award of its kind, Entrepreneur Of The Year celebrates those who are building and leading successful, growing and dynamic businesses, recognizing them through regional, national and global awards programs in more than 145 cities in more than 60 countries.
