Calgary, AB (April 21, 2015) – STEP Energy Services is pleased to announce that Mr. Mike Burvill has joined the Company as Vice President, Fracturing Services. With the recent acquisition of fracturing assets and the Company’s plan to offer conventional fracturing solutions later in 2015, Mr. Burvill will be responsible for leading and building the new division.
Mr. Burvill brings over 20 years’ experience in the oil and gas service industry. For the past eight years he has managed fracturing and nitrogen services exclusively. Regan Davis, president and chief executive officer, comments, “Mr. Burvill’s extensive experience, his relationships along with his strong leadership skills will ensure STEP’s successful transition into the fracturing business.”
In addition to Mr. Burvill’s appointment, Mr. Rory Thompson, STEP’s current Director of Operations, has been promoted to Vice President, Coiled Tubing Services – Canada. Mr. Thompson began his career with STEP as Operations Manager during the start-up stage of the company and was promoted to Director of Operations in January 2014.
