STEP Grows Again

Calgary, AB (July 22, 2013) – STEP Energy Services is pleased to announce that Mr. David Johnson has joined the company as Vice President, Human Resources. 

David’s arrival at STEP follows over 20 years of experience in human resources leadership roles with domestic and international energy firms.  Most recently, David worked for TAQA North (Abu Dhabi National Energy Company) as Vice President, Human Resources where he was involved in the navigation of the organization through a period of intense transition and growth which resulted from the integration of three diverse energy companies.  David holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary and a Certified Human Resources Professional designation.  David began his oilfield career as a roustabout and battery operator based in Drayton Valley with Amoco Canada and subsequently transferred through Amoco’s Calgary and Houston offices.  David’s progression into senior management roles included human resources leadership positions at Mirant Canada Energy Marketing, Nexen and PrimeWest Energy.
