STEP Selected as a Finalist for Deloitte’s Best Managed Companies Award

Calgary, AB (December 5, 2014) – On Tuesday, December 2 Deloitte announced the 2014 regional finalists for their Best Managed Companies award. Established in 1993, this award is the country’s leading business awards program, recognizing excellence in Canadian owned and managed companies. Every year, hundreds of entrepreneurial companies compete for this designation in a rigorous and independent process that evaluates the caliber of their management abilities and practices.

“Considering the in-depth application process and the quality of the other companies in the competition, it’s an honour to have been selected as a finalist for this award,” says president and chief executive officer Regan Davis. “Our management team is comprised of industry experts who are committed to the unique culture we’ve built at STEP. The Canada's Best Managed Companies designation symbolizes Canadian corporate success: companies focused on their core vision, creating stakeholder value and excelling in the global economy. The top 50 winners in Canada will be contacted mid-December and will be made public in the new year.
