STEP has successfully completed over 100 wells in the U.S. market using Coil+, yet the company continues to advance the capabilities of this technology. On this particular program, STEP-conneCT was utilized in conjunction with Coil+, providing real-time insights into wellbore conditions and enabled the team to maximize operational performance. Through the integration of these two technologies, the team pushed operational limits and set a new depth record for the client.
After completing the program during its deployment in Canada, the (Montney) operator commented: "Activating the Coil+ mid-string agitator was critical as we would not have reached total depth on several wells without it. The installation and removal of the mid-string agitator on surface by both the service team and our coil tool provider was safe and efficient. This successful deployment gives us the confidence to use the Coil+ technology on future pads. It has already changed the way we look at our future drill plans."
